2.) Celebrate-- The Opening Night gala awards ceremony for The Reel Sisters Film Festival honoring award-winning filmmaker Julie Dash (Daughters of The Dust). This year’s festival will celebrate the work of Zora Neale Hurston as an inspiration for women filmmakers. KUMBLE THEATER on the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island Univ.
